Cat Pictures - and a new camera

I know some blurry pictures of Kali have been emailed around, but I finally have some good pictures of her that don't look like a ball of fur. I also just got a new camera as an early Christmas present. They were clearing out an older model DSLR at work and I picked one up for a fairly good price. Taking pictures is much more fun when I don't have to wait to develop them or think about how much it will cost me to develop. As a nice bonus, all my current lenses zoom by 50% more with the new camera.

I love your baby!! The last picture is my favourite. I'm just imagining her watching the laser pointer...

I swear I didn't make her pose that way. She just likes staring out the window.

She's so cute. She was in Andy's lap when he was posting that earlier... I've been betrayed and forgotten. =P Why Andy?? Why do you steal her from meeee?

I'm jealous. Not that our digital is bad, but I just often feel I'm not getting as much control over it as I did with my SLR. So curious, what constitutes a good price on a DSLR? I'd guess you still spent between 500 and 800$ even on an extremely good sale.

I paid $375 for a Digital Rebel XT that was on clearance at work. It has an eight megapixel sensor and just about all the features I could use. Target normally sold them for $499. I just checked and they still sell at $700 on Amazon.
